New DC Universe Upcoming Movies:- The Super Hero and Villain characters from DC Comics publication is known as the DC Universe (DCU). James Gunn and Peter Safran, the co-chairmen and co-CEOs of DC Studios, were responsible for its creation.
The film series, which features DC characters, is a soft reboot of the DC Extended Universe (DCEU). Concurrent DC adaptations that do not fit within this continuity are labeled DC Elseworlds.
The DC Universe’s story is split up into chapters and the first of which is “Gods and Monsters” and starts with animated series Creature Commandos.
James Gunn announced, Superman Legacy is the first movie in the chapter and it will release in July 2025.
Chapter 1 – Gods and Monsters
On January 31, James Gunn and Peter Safran announced the initial projects from the upcoming DCU slate.
Some of the comics made best-seller lists the day following the slate announcement, and some had already sold out.

Superman: Legacy – Although it is not an origin story, the movie centers on a teenage Superman working as a reporter and meeting important people like Lois Lane.
The Authority – The Collective Thought of the Authorities “The entire planet is shattered. And the only way to fix it is for them to act on their own, which may entail killing people, overthrowing heads of state, or overthrowing governments—basically doing anything they want to in order to make the world better.”

The Brave and the Bold – The movie looks at the “Bat family,” introducing Damian Wayne, the son of Batman, as a Robin. Batman and Robin would be the subject of a “weird father and son narrative” in the movie.
Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow – In contrast to her cousin Superman, who was raised on Earth by adoring parents, Kara Zor-El/Supergirl, who was raised on the devastated planet Krypton and witnessed everyone around her die, is shown in the movie as being cynical.
Swamp Thing – A horror film that explores the “dark origins” of Swamp Thing.

Creature Commandos – The first TV Show was an animated series for HBO Max called Creature Commandos, which was based on a fictional black ops team of the same name that included numerous DC Comics creatures.
Waller – Waller follows the story of Amanda Waller and “Team Peacemaker” after the events of the first season finale of Peacemaker.
Lanterns – Two Green Lanterns (extraterrestrial heroes who wear rings that grant them special abilities)—Hal Jordan and John Stewart—investigate a mystery on Earth.
Paradise Lost – This television show is a political drama about the intrigue and power struggles that took place on the island of Themyscira before Wonder Woman was born.
Booster Gold – A disgraced former football player named Mike Carter (also known as Booster Gold) uses simple technology from the future to travel back in time and assume the identity of a superhero.

- A planned sequel to the film Constantine (2005) with director Francis Lawrence and star Keanu Reeves returning
